While at school in the Himalayan foothills, my interest in nature and the outdoors led me to take up photography. Later, pursuing a masters in mass communication from MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia, in Delhi, I began to understand aesthetics and balance, and its place in cinematography as a tool for story telling.

I worked as an assistant / camera operator on various Indian and International projects with some fine DPs, and then have been working independently based out of Mumbai.
